We at #CosMicIT are looking for a #SQL DBA (Tentative)
Job description:
Must-Have:
• Excellent working experience in SQL database
• Proficient in High Availability solutions (Always-on, Clustering, Log-shipping and Mirroring).
• Expert in Backup and restores and recovery models.
• Disaster Recovery for the customer
• Microsoft SQL server Certified
Good-to-Have
• Azure OR AWS Cloud exposure.
• Bulk Upgrade or Patching Automation skills
• Secondary DB skills like Postrgers and Oracle
SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1 Hands-on experience on installing, configuring SQL server .
2 Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
3 Hand on experience on Database Backup and Recovery
4 and on experience on Database upgradation and migration from 2008 to higher versions
5 Strong troubleshooting skills on DBA aspects
6 Prepare analysis report, client presentation, handling L1 team and operations escalation
7 Status reporting with Customer and Internal teams
8 Customer and internal team collaborations and flexibility of working in shifts.
