We have an urgent requirement for AWS Application Architect
Location: India/Offshore
Job Description:
1. Designing and implementing AWS cloud-based applications: The AWS Application Architect is responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based applications using AWS services and technologies. They must be proficient in AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, and other related services.
2. Providing technical leadership: The AWS Application Architect should have strong technical leadership skills to lead and mentor developers and other team members. They should be able to guide the team in selecting the best AWS services for the application and ensure that the application meets performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
3. Developing application architecture: The AWS Application Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining the application architecture using AWS technologies. They should have experience in designing scalable and resilient architectures, and they should be able to provide guidance on the use of AWS services and tools.
4. Ensuring application security and compliance: The AWS Application Architect should have a good understanding of AWS security and compliance requirements and ensure that the application meets these requirements. They should be familiar with AWS security services such as IAM, KMS, and CloudTrail, and be able to implement security best practices.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams: The AWS Application Architect should be able to collaborate with other teams, such as product management, engineering, and operations, to ensure that the application meets business requirements and can be deployed and maintained effectively.
6. Providing technical support: The AWS Application Architect should provide technical support to the development team and troubleshoot technical issues related to AWS services and technologies.
7. Staying up-to-date with AWS technologies: The AWS Application Architect should stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and trends and provide guidance on the adoption of new AWS services and tools.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. 6+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based applications using AWS technologies.
3. Strong technical leadership skills and experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
4. Experience in designing scalable and resilient architectures using AWS services.
5. Knowledge of AWS security and compliance requirements and experience in implementing security best practices.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
7. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are preferred
