Software Engineer
Summary of the Role:
We are looking for Software Engineers who get excited about building high-quality,
scalable and reliable systems and applications for industrial loT. You are expected to design and build solutions that will power and scale our cloud-based platform.
You will be a valuable member in a cross-functional, autonomous team to build, experiment, iterate and deliver on new objectives. Above all, your work will impact how we feed the world and protect the planet.

Skills set:
Design, develop and deploy applications with strong focus on availability, Responsibilities
.Leverage DevOps practices and principles to help scale developer’s
productivity, and continuously contribute to improve our engineering
standards.
Together with your team, take operational responsibility for the components owned by the team.
. Take ownership of the quality of own deliverables as well as the team’s.
. Share knowledge and collaborate with some of Yara’s best software engineers.
. You have higher education with minimum a bachelor’s degree in information technology or similar.
· Up to 5 years of software engineering experience in development, architecture, and design of distributed systems – preferably with cloud
technologies. Experience in modern programming languages such as Kotlin, Java, Python or similar.
· Experience in building loosely coupled large-scale distributed systems using a microservice architecture style.
· Knowledge about messaging system technologies such as, AWS SNS, AWS SQS, or Google Pub/Sub.
. Experience with test automation, debugging and other automation
techniques.
· Experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) is an advantage.
· Experience with front-end technologies and frameworks, including but not limited to React, CSS, and HTML.
