AspenTech Data Analyst

Job Description:

Experience: 6-10 years
Data Engineer/Data Analyst
Required Technical Skill Set: AspenTech Inmation
Must-Have:
1. Experience in data engineering with exposure in Oil & Gas (Exploration & Production and/or Refining & Chemicals) Operations/ Maintenance
2. Knowledge of industrial OT systems (OSI PI, IP21, Inmation), real-time data transfer (through OPC from ICSS, PLC/DCS) and IT environments
3. Ability to understand the wider business context of technical and data requirements
4. 5+ years of experience in Data Engineer role and experience in industrial data technologies and frameworks
5. Academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Industrial Control Systems (DCS, OPC, SCADA, PLCs)
Good-to-Have:
1. Knowledge of the Microsoft technology stacks (including Azure, M365, Power Platform, etc.)
2. Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging digital information and technology trends
3. Certification in data engineering or related fields
4. Language: English and French
5. Behavioral skills: self-motivated, autonomy, open-mindedness, adaptability, achievement orientation, team player.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:
1. Configuration of Inmation solution for site specific requirement
2. Deployment of AspenTech Inmation across operational sites, integration with OT systems for data transfer
3. Post deployment run/support for Inmation solution, troubleshooting for any technical issues
4. Coordination with the team and stakeholders, including Product Owner, site leads, etc.
