Java Developer (Backend)

We at #CosMicIT GmbH are urgently looking for #Java Developer

Project language: German

Location: Vienna (80% remote share)

Start: 03/2024 End: 12/2025 (option to extend)

Position Summary:

Tasks:

• Development of Java programs and modules;
• Implementation of specifications described in use case form or user stories (design, development and integration of Java and JEE components or Spring components);
• Development of database interfaces and web services;
• Execution of object-oriented system analyses and designs;
• Conducting design and code reviews;
• Execution of module/unit tests;
• Collaboration in the creation of quality standards, reviews of design and code (e.g. clean code, use of design patterns, best practices, etc.);
• Collaboration in the design and optimization of development processes (e.g. in the CI/CD environment) and in the use of container technologies;
• Program documentation;
• Maintenance and further development of existing applications;
• Participation in the definition and coordination of technical requirements;
• Design, implementation and testing of software developments, as well as execution of data migrations if necessary;
• Database programming in SQL as well as analysis and implementation of schema and performance optimization;
• Integration of applications into a message broker architecture (RabbitMQ);
• Use of authentication standards such as SAML and OAuth.

Requirements:

at least 3 years of professional experience in the field of Java services (PM performance, programming, testing, deployment)

Deployment via container technology (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, etc)

Experience with authentication via external IDP (using OAuth, SAML, OpenID,etc)

Experience with interfaces and standards such as RSV, USP, PVP, bPK connections, eSignature or eDelivery is an advantage

Experience with Scrum or as a Scrum Master desirable
