IT Experience (in years): 5+ Years

Job Description :

Must have Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT, experience in a manufacturing or regulated industry is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Collaboration Tools, particularly under Windows environments, and client support
  • Good knowledge on Teams meeting Rooms.
  • Security and Compliance within Teams
  • Integration with third party apps
  • Integration with Power apps/Power Platform/M365 suite
  • Good knowledge on PowerShell
  • Excellent Knowledge of Teams policies, Teams applications, Live Events/Townhall productions
  • Support evergreen meetings/implementations on regards to Microsoft Teams
  • Good knowledge and experience on Teams telephony system
  • Willing to support other collaboration tools like Room Booking systems, Conference devices including Teams Pro portal.
  • Willing to embrace new collaboration technologies.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a global team environment, particularly in a manufacturing or regulated industry setting.
  • Good documentation skills
  • Strong willing to continuous learning and continuous improvement

Nice to have skills:

  • Knowledge on Resource Express room booking system.
  • Knowledge on other collaboration tools
  • Experience with implementing and/or integrating and Teams Phone technology with other technologies.
  • Automation capabilities
  • Self-learner

Key activities & role during transition:

  • Create comprehensive documentation or knowledge base articles that outline common issues and their resolutions.
  • Act as a point of contact for Initial, L2 and L3 support during the transition phase to address any critical issues or questions.
  • Collaborate with the current team to develop a transition plan that ensures a seamless handover of responsibilities.
  • Establish regular meetings to address concerns, challenges, and progress during the transition period.
  • Ensure a smooth transition by supplying ongoing support.
  • Design Governance model and definitions

Key tasks and responsibilities for regular operations:

  • Management of Microsoft Teams platform
  • Ensure analysis of new applications and interact whenever need with security and compliance towers.
  • Ensure support for Live/Townhall events whenever needed.
  • Ensure a clean environment and help maintain under control the Microsoft team’s landscape.
  • Whenever applicable support applications under teams, from an infrastructure point of view
  • Monitor, evaluate and implement whenever needed all new functionalities, also ensuring user adoption and training artifacts.
  • Work closely with Ferring IT architecture team for any new demands, requests or initiatives coming from the business, including respective PoC.
  • Support all incidents including Major incidents driving into resolution and helping to find the RCA (root cause analysis)
  • Proactively help finding recurring incidents, help on RCA analysis and drive to resolution.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generating reports on devices, performance, usage statistics, and compliance metrics.
  • Act as a point of contact for Initial, L2 and L3 support for on-site support teams and to address any critical issues or questions.
