We at #CosMicIT GmbH are urgently looking for a #Scrum Master

Location:  Vienna (80% remote)
Start:  01/2024
End:  06/2024 (option on extension for additional 1 year)
Workload:  full-time

Position Summary:

Span of responsibilities
– Acts as a coach during the project for adapting a banking application in different CEE countries
– Responsible for helping to establish a self-organizing team
– Drives the continuous improvement process of the scrum team setting and its productivity
– Responsible for maintaining healthy team dynamics and to keep the team motivated. Scrum master only confers in special cases with TL/Co-TL in regards to maintaining healthy team dynamics. Otherwise s/he is responsible for the topic of team dynamics and acts independently. (e.g., establishing a healthy intra-team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope as defined in the Sprint Backlog, etc.)
– Manages social risks at team level and is engaged in conflict management
– Supports the scrum team in increasing their capabilities in their area of delivery
– Responsible for protecting the team from interferences from others
– Address and remove impediments both on a team level and tribe level
– Works closely together with Agile Coach when it comes to coaching activities for newly founded setups
– Supports the Product Owner in his/her efforts to manage the Product Stream backlog
– Challenges and improves the current status
– Skills and People Development within team and tribe
– Responsible for establishing a self-learning system in the team
– Responsible for establishing and maintaining a feedback culture in the team
– Responsible for making transparent the team’s needed skills and skill gaps
– Supports the Product Owner in his/her efforts to manage the Product Stream backlog

Skillset
– Product knowledge of banks
– Practice in Scrum, experience in user story mapping
– Understands and explains vision, goals, and impacts, but not product details.
– Know how in software development of advantage
– Focus in delivery processes, experience in vendor management and IT service management (ITSM) is a plus
– Personal attitude – Lead and influence without formal authority
– Agile Mindset and Servant Leadership/Motivation
– Project language English
