Job Description
Must have Skills:
- 5+ years’ experience designing, executing, and supporting mid to large IT infrastructure Unified Communications solutions.
- Strong architecture & design expertise on Unified Communications.
- Technologies, including and encompassing: Voice Gateways, SIP Trunks, PRI, IP Phones, VideoConference, CUCM, Presence, Unity, CTC, TMS, VCS, MCU, Attendance Console, SamWin, Jabber.
- Critical thinking and a can-do attitude to balance between maintaining the legacy and introducing tangible improvement for continuous evolution.
Nice to have skills
- Experience and hands-on skills relating to switching, wireless, routing, virtualization, software-defined networking, physical and virtual
- storage, disaster recovery, and automation.
- Key activities & role during transition Capture knowledge from existing setup – key contributor in UC knowledge transfer from incumbent partner.
- Compile and complement existing document to reflect the current as-is.
- Engage and coordinate with technology partner implementing managed services.
- Establish the core guidelines for regular ops including documentation, changes, maintenance and support, both proactive and reactive.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- for regular operations Drive the design and architecture for all topics pertaining to Ferring Unified Communication solutions and use cases.
- Devise, propose and defend a future vision for Unified Communications at Ferring, along with a realistic action plan to achieve it.
- Propose additions and complements to address gaps in technology, people or processes to cater for business needs, present or foreseeable.
