Application Packaging Resource

We are looking for senior application packagers who will be responsible for the end-to-end process of application packaging, deployment, and maintenance across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of application packaging tools, scripting, and deployment technologies, along with excellent problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

• Application Packaging: Create, test, and deploy application packages for various operating systems (primarily Windows).
• Software Deployment: Manage and automate the deployment of software applications using tools like SCCM, Intune, or other software distribution platforms.
• Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.) to automate application packaging and deployment processes.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to application installations and deployments.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of packaging processes, deployment scripts, and configuration settings.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT, security teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless software deployment and compliance with security standards.
• Training & Support: Provide training and support to junior team members and end-users as needed.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in application packaging and deployment.

Required Qualifications : 

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in application packaging and deployment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·         Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with application packaging tools (e.g., InstallShield, AdminStudio, Wise Package Studio).
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.).
• Experience with software deployment tools (SCCM and Intune).
• In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems and registry and Citrix platform
• Familiarity with MSI, App-V, and other application virtualization technologies.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex application deployment issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
