IT Experience (in years): 10+ Years
Job Description :
Must have Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT endpoint management and support, experience in a manufacturing or regulated industry is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Windows Client operating systems, particularly Windows 10 and 11, capable of integrating windows with Intune as a modern management solution using Autopilot.
- Good Knowledge of Android and IOS devices
- Excellent knowledge in with SCCM
- Experience with integration and setup of MDM Solutions with special focus on MS Intune – MS Intune.
- Willing to support as backup another MDM platform like SureMDM
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a global team environment, particularly in a manufacturing or regulated industry setting.
- Good documentation skills
- Strong willing to continuous learning and continuous improvement
Nice to have skills:
- Knowledge on setup of MDM Solutions in 42gears and SureMDM
- Knowledge of Zebra devices
- knowledge on other MDM platforms like Air Watch or SOT
Key activities & role during transition:
- Create comprehensive documentation or knowledge base articles that outline common issues and their resolutions.
- Act as a point of contact for Initial, L2 and L3 support during the transition phase to address any critical issues or questions.
- Collaborate with the current team to develop a transition plan that ensures a seamless handover of responsibilities.
- Establish regular meetings to address concerns, challenges, and progress during the transition period.
Key tasks and responsibilities for regular operations:
- Management of Endpoint devices under the central tools like SCCM, Intune, 42Gears, for Laptops, Desktops, Smartphones, Zebra devices (in a regulatory environment).
- Ensure that all devices are patched regularly (as applicable) on latest Android OS and meet the organization’s security and compliance standards.
- Work closely with other IT and OT teams to ensure that devices are integrated into the organization’s overall manufacturing systems and processes in alignment with the goal of One ERP.
- Participate in Major incidents driving into resolution.
- Help finding root cause of Major incidents or recurring incidents in a pro-active manner.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generating reports on devices, performance, usage statistics, and compliance metrics.
- Act as a point of contact for Initial, L2 and L3 support for on-site support teams and to address any critical issues or questions.
- Deploy, and configure Microsoft Intune to manage and secure mobile devices across the organization, including Windows, IOS and Android
- Manage and support mobile/windows devices enrolment, provisioning, and troubleshooting.
- Implement and maintain policies for managing Windows PCs, macOS devices, and mobile platforms.
