We at #CosMicIT are looking for a #HSE Platform Specialist

Location: India (CET shift hours) / EU

Job Description

The HSE IT Platform Specialist is the bridge between the HSE technology platforms team and the wider Client IT organization. They take ownership of the service provision process and possess comprehensive technical knowledge.   They serve as an escalation point for technical problems, collaborating with both internal and external partners to ensure the HSE business receives a high level of service stability.

TECHNICAL DESIGN AND EXPERTISE

–        Expert in the technical design of HSE platform (currently made up of Enablon, Comaea, Cardinus products) including configuration, maintenance and integrations with other systems.

OPERATIONAL SERVICE AND SUPPORT

–        Develop understanding of internal HSE business stakeholders groups (approx. 8 global business processes), the criticality of these processes, how to navigate Client internal IT service functions as well as external IT vendors support teams.

–        Owns the operational service & support of the platform – ensuring documentation and compliance against Client standards and regulatory requirements – including configuration management;  ServiceNow forms, templates, groups and workflows; application and security; data privacy and data retention policies.

–        Owner of service relationship for HSE support teams (Infosys, Comaea, Cardinus, Wolters Kluwer) and provisioner of changes to existing service contracts and resources in order to deliver high quality, responsive, internal customer support.

ESCALATION MANAGEMENT

–        Acts as primary person responsible for leading teams through critical technical situations (Priority 1 issues, unplanned outages, technical upgrades, root cause analysis reviews) including clear, timely communications to appropriate stakeholders.

–        Escalation point responsible for coordination between internal teams and external vendors to remove obstacles and facilitate resolution to complex issues, stalled technical problems or dissatisfied internal customers.

CHANGE MANAGEMENT AND GOVERNANCE      

–        Understands change management lifecycle and governance processes for each business process and product.

–        As the technical consultant during the change process,  articulate how proposed changes would impact existing design (if any) and develops and manages technical test management plan.

–        Accountable for ensuring support knowledge and technical artifacts (integration specifications, system architecture documentation, integration test scripts) are up to date after changes (upgrades, patches or service pack configurations).
