Experience: 2-4 years

Job description:
Roles & Responsibilities
– Support lab optimization functions
– Oversee and maintain routine equipment maintenance/calibration (standardization of pH/conductivity meters, monthly cleaning of solution prep fume hood, etc.).
– Manage solution pickup/disposal with requestors, including email communication
– Manage electronic solution systems and support requestors, including new solution/raw material entries, and assessing feasibility, identifying duplicates, and reviewing completed records
– Develop metrics and schedule regular reviews to provide awareness of resource availability, volumes requested and prepared as well as process improvements
– Develop a maintenance schedule and operations routine for equipment calibration (e.g., pH meters), work area cleanliness (Biosafety Cabinets and Fume Hoods) as well as inventory storage and ordering practices.
– Support routine/unskilled lab operations either supervised or unsupervised (e.g., moving buffers/media, assisting with equipment setup, transcribing data, manage orders, assisting in lab cleanliness tasks)
– Develop cost savings and avoidance reports
– Emergency environmental chamber response and contents transfer.
Experience Required: Clinical Research Operations, Lab Consumables Management
Technical/Functional Skills: Knowledge of Inventory Management Systems, Lab Consumables and Chemicals
