Required Technical Skill Set: Oil & Gas industry expert having strong domain/business knowledge, IT solutions consulting and project delivery

Desired Experience Range: 10 to 20 Years

Job Description

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have: (Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

• Hands-on experience in manufacturing operations of oil refinery/petrochemical plants in the areas like production. plant maintenance, quality, HSE etc.
• Good understanding about key business processes (planning, scheduling, invent, management, performance management), process optimization techniques, process engineering, regulatory compliance etc. and software tools (COTS) supporting those.
• Experience in solution development or solution consulting in end user side in Oil and gas industry.
• Experience in handling Oil and gas COTS products and product development experience will be preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate/interact with client team to understand business problems, analyse and define business requirements and advise the right solutions (using IT systems & tools) to them.
• Good understanding of latest best industry practices, technology platforma being adapted to define and achieve Manufacturing Excellence goals by the Oil & Gas industry.
• Knowledge about Agile, Cybersecurity, SRE operations will be added advantage

Good-to-Have

• Agile methodology of project delivery (Scrum)
• Overall understanding of cloud technology platform (MS Azure)
• Familiar with software programming languages (Python, Java, DotNet etc.), database technology (MS SOL), 1U1-1.1X technology (Angular, React etc.)
• Main coordinator between the client & developer team, single point of contact for stakeholders
• Take over the role of actual Product Owner in the absense of the client PO
• Translates product roadmap into well-defined product requirements including feature test criteria.
• Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products. Review and y functionality and demonstrate it to the client team
• Guide and educate the developer team with all necessary business/functional input,
• Develop and prepare business presentations, functional documents and periodical project stakeholders
• Communicate with users about product specific updates and take a note of product
• Effectively translate product/user requirement to technical team
