Key activities & role during transition
Takeover and validate SAP documentation, e.g High-Level designs, Low-Level Designs, IQP, IQR and work instructions. If needed re-create in Ferring template for long-term maintenance.
Takeover and validate SAP privileged identifies, technical users and other credentials. Populate Basis team shared password database.
Identify key knowledge or documentation gaps and lead the activities to close them.
Key tasks and responsibilities for regular operations
Hold the design authority of the SAP landscape together with the other architects. Maintain a holistic view of the landscape and how it integrates with other systems.
Maintain system compliance state according to the regulatory and functional requirements that are part of the approved design. Work together with the engineering teams to avoid drift.
Contribute to the definition of the technical roadmap for the SAP Basis tower. Lead the execution of roadmap activities with the engineering team.
Create and maintain technical documentation like requirements specifications, High-Level designs, Low/Level designs, GxP IQP/IQR and other detailed work-instructions, e.g. system refresh procedure. Support shift-left to the SAP Basis E2E service.
Lead change and problem management processes for the changes/problems assigned by the tower lead.
Work together with the OneERP teams to deliver the enabling activities required for the active project streams. Fulfil requests/demands from the business.
Act as the technical lead for the TCS team in Noida, Deli. Support them on technical queries and individual development.
