We at #CosMicIT are looking for a #Senior Front end developer

Job Description

The position will be responsible for aiding in the facilitation of the User Interface (UI) of digital and web applications, exploring and creating screen design concepts/wireframes, and further refining designs using best and efficient UI / UX practices. Collaborating with our agile team (Scrum process) alongside the full stack software developer, customer dev/researcher, business system & strategic SMEs, and product owners to help refine, develop, and implement the UX/UI of the Web-based applications.

• 8+ years as a UX/UI Developer, creating intuitive experiences that delight the customer
• Experience in designing, developing, prototyping, and implementing apps through to production.
• Expertise with HTML, JavaScript, Angular and CSS scripts is a must.
• Delivering user flows, wireframes, design comps, interactive hi-fi prototypes, and user interactions.
• Observe and analyse end users of product and their requirements, document findings and work with PMs (Product Managers) to translate learnings into user stories and ensure product development integrates insights to maximize user experience.
• Understands the importance of meeting requirements and deadlines and delivers solid designs and prototypes. Has a strong understanding of design principles/ foundations which can include but are not limited to, composition, color sense, layout, visual efficiency, typography, behavior and interaction design, as well as a solid understanding of user experience.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
• Strong problem-solving skills regarding UX/UI from a visual standpoint.
• Advocating for the customer through human centered design methods, including: discovery, research, ideation, whiteboard sessions, and user testing.
• Supporting design-led workshops to engage and build alignment across different partners and teams
• Familiarity with design and prototyping tools, such as: Adobe Products, Sketch and/or Figma
• Experience in healthcare / Life sciences will be preferred.
• Experience in creating powerpoints and animated presentations will be advantageous.
